Watershed offers a warranty covering defects in workmanship, material and construction of our furniture for a period of two years. Natural characteristics do not allow for a perfectly uniform product in regards to variations in wood color, stain color, cherry pits, sap, and wood grain. Seasonal gapping or minor cracks in the grain pattern of solid wood are considered a normal occurrence and should not be assumed to be a defect of materials or workmanship, but rather appreciated as an inherent characteristic of solid wood.
If the defect is due to material or workmanship, the item will be repaired. If repairing is not practical, the item will be replaced. If, under normal conditions, the furniture develops a defect, such as deep cracks in a table, an owner of Watershed will visit the customer’s home.
Warranty Limitations:
The warranty will be honored if the customer has the original sales receipt. The warranty is not transferable to another owner. The warranty is only valid on furniture purchased from Watershed.
Negligence, misuse, accidents by the customer or humidity levels that are not in the normal range specified by the craftsman will void the warranty. We will do what we can to help you with minor repairs, touch up, etc. for free or a nominal charge depending on the issue. On rare occasions we may send items back to the craftsman for repair. Shipping and repair charges will apply in these cases. (See section on how to care for solid wood furniture for details on proper handling to prevent voiding the warranty.)
